I don’t understand. I wish they had more data or numbers in this. Like, to stay at 1.5 we would need to reduce co2eq by how much? I thought 1.5 was baked in at 420 ppm? Isnt the best way to look at this by saying what ppm (in terms of CO2eq) needs to be maintained in order to stay at X temperature rise? So 420 ppm maintained is equivalent to X degrees c rise?
If only there is something we could could do to prevent this…
I am empathetic (been seriously decreasing footprint since before COVID, but ramped up after COVID), but I honestly don’t know what this article means.
