Besides housing, what’s going on there now?
I was thinking of moving to Ireland, study a masters at trinity and try to stay there to work next year

Ah, that feeling is felt across the world right now, the great squeeze is upon us.
Ireland is easy mode. Try living in Mauritania
I know this is a rhetorical question, but my answer would be: insurance cartels, a terrible banking sector, a broken housing market, non existant public services and a special mix of corrupt, ineffective an unimaginative politicians who are either unable or unwilling to address any of these issues.
Because we had a chance to build something great in 1916 and instead we decided to emulate our former masters.
Man I feel this in my soul. My dad just had a hearth attack a few days ago and the ineptitude was just as hearth breaking.
This is also me in the US, where life is extra hard
compared to africa, the middle east, eastern europe, south america and north korea maybe ireland isnt so bad
