in the past years I have traveled to all national parks in US. Some of them I’ve visited more than three times!.So I created a table to score and rank each national park based on my personal experience and general impressions(such as google map comment).
next setp I consider evaluating the park of score by users vote
Your reviews leave a bit to be desired. For instance numerically I can see why you gave Isle Royale a D (though the map has it rated as an F) but I don’t have a clear understanding of what your subjective thoughts were that caused you to dislike it. I’d love to see a quick 3-5 sentence review of each if possible. Otherwise I enjoyed the site! Thanks for the hard work and thanks for sharing.
So this ranking is based on your personal opinion? This is r/DATAisbeautiful, not opinion is beautiful.
ETA: you spelled Isle Royale wrong on your website
Why is Valley Forge not included on this? I was under the impression that it was a national park.
Lassen Volcanic in the bottom quarter is actual insanity
Island Royale? It’s Isle Royale and your data is incorrect, they do not allow pets.
I can’t take any list that has both Grand Teton and Olympic outside the top 20 seriously.
How did you determine remote location? I see that Congaree swamp has that as a “con” but it’s only a bit over 30 minutes from downtown Columbia
Looks good but could be improved. There’s a whole lot of whitespace and the maps as well don’t look very good.
This guy gave Isle Royale a 5.9/10. I can’t take your opinions seriously, sorry.
*cries in American Samoa National Park*
Search by landscape:
Forest 2
Waterfall 1
Give up.
There’s not even a reasonable attempt at cataloguing data in that opinion ranking.
Shenandoah is in the picture but not in the list?
I was literally at Kenai Fjords just last week. It is not #1, let alone an A+ compared to the other parks. Cool place, but not even Top Ten.
See them before they’re sold off…
Next up, this simple tool I built to rank my children
Yosemite > Yellowstone
You are missing Utah on the states pull down.
Zion being number 15 REALLY undermines my trust in this list. Been to over 40 national parks (and all of your top 10), and Zion is still #1, to me.
Where’s the rest of the rankings
Great smoky mountains are the most frequently visited, and it’s not top 20?

The all parks data is in: [USA national park](https://usanationalpark.com/)
All I want to do is find the best national parks to visit in the US, and prioritize visiting the ones that are truly worth it
Data source: is from [https://www.nps.gov/](https://www.nps.gov/)
