  1. Pretty much confirmed, they found the parts, forgot the exact missile model.

  2. Today morning, Iran has fired ballistic missiles at Israel. With one of them hitting a hospital in the south of the country.

Israeli officials now publish that some of these were banned cluster munitions. Which caused extra damage and injuries.

I wonder if the world will care that Iran is indiscriminately firing banned ammunition at Israeli hospitals. Or will the “Women and children” crowds stay silent in the face of war crimes committed against Israelis by it’s enemies.

  3. Further evidence that international law is worthless.

  4. I’m not a fan of Iran, but I’m quite limited in my give a damns for Israel as well. I don’t wish death and pain on civilians, but at least Iran is bad at it. Israel has been much more successful at killing civilians in Iran.

  5. Israel has already hit hospitals and a red crescent vehicle in Iran. Not sure why they’re drawing a red line about this now when they’ve already crossed it earlier. The only way to stop civilian casualties is to return to the negotiating table. Unfortunately, both governments don’t seem to value innocent lives that much.

  6. Maybe — just maybe — I’d give a damn if Israel hadn’t bombed every hospital in Gaza. It’s a well-known fact that Israel often builds military sites in densely populated areas and even under hospitals. So by their own logic, Iranian strikes on hospitals and civilian infrastructure would also be justified. You can’t have it both ways.

  7. Note that cluster munitions are banned by the Convention on Cluster Munitions of which Israel is not a member.

  8. I have no sympathy for Israel at this point. They’re escalating wider war while simultaneously committing genocide.

  9. Israel is one of the few countries who has not signed
The Convention on Cluster Munitions, so they are okay with getting bombed with them.

  10. Calling cluster munitions “banned” is a bit of a stretch in this case. Neither Iran nor Israel are party to the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions, which if I understand correctly is where this claim that cluster munitions are banned stems from (the article doesn’t address this at all and just calls them “banned cluster munitions”).

  11. I’m not gong to feign outrage over this, every modern conflict has shown to me that international law is feckless. All parties involved in the current conflicts across the globe do horrible shit without consequence, not limited to Iran.

  12. I don’t think the OP is engaging in good faith and encourage others not to participate.

  13. This is a daily occurrence in Russian attacks on civilians in Ukraine. Why no headlines? and what about Russian chemical warfare. Israel is an aggressor state. not a victim

  14. Israel wrote the book in ignoring international law and conventions so best of luck getting people to care.

Bibi is literally wanted for war crimes and committing a genocide.
