On the evening of June 19, after 11:10 PM, at least five explosions were heard in Kharkiv. The Ukrainian Air Forces had warned about approaching drones moving toward the city. According to preliminary data, impacts were recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts.

One of the strikes occurred near multi-story residential buildings; the consequences of this incident are currently being clarified, said the city mayor, Ihor Terekhov.

A fire broke out at the site of one of the strikes in the Shevchenkivskyi district, but there is no information about casualties so far, added the mayor of Kharkiv.

At 12:03 AM, it became known that the roof of an unoccupied new building caught fire as a result of a drone strike. Ihor Terekhov also noted that there were hits in the courtyard of a high-rise building, where cars were damaged and windows were broken. No information about casualties has been reported yet.

At 12:11 AM, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, confirmed that there were five strikes by Russian drones in the city, but no information about casualties had been received.

According to Ihor Terekhov, one person was injured, and two others suffered acute stress reactions due to the UAV attack. About 50 cars were damaged in the courtyard of the high-rise where the strike occurred.

At 12:26 AM, Oleh Syniehubov clarified that eight strikes by Russian drones had already been recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Three people were injured in the attack, including two girls aged 12 and 17, who are receiving medical care.
