Someone’s living it up, I wouldn’t even look at these
They’ve lost the run of themselves
Yup, I had been buying them instead of American goods. Back to the tap water and mi wadi for me
Aldi has knock off versions which arnt bad, and their tropical non sugar is nice for under 3 euro for 6
San Pelligrino John
I find these mad pissy and lacking flavour. As someone else said, better off with Miwadi and sparkling water.
Got them on offer in a maxol service station yesterday for 4euro (plus .90c for recycling). I’ll be getting more today to stock up. The lemon one is so refreshing.
Sanpellegrino is owned by Nestle anyway.. so don’t buy this shit
Miwadi is supreme!!! 3 bottles for €5 in Tesco 🥳
The lemon one makes me winch as the atomic blast of soury goodness slides down the tongue to the gullet
They ruined it with the artificial sweeteners anyway
These taste terrible now. Very synthetic. Fizzy drinks have been ruined in Ireland. I was in France recently and got a Sprite. All sugar, all delicious. If the drink contains artificial sweeteners as well as sugar it should be subject to the same tax as a full sugar drink, not this halfway loophole shite.
In the UK they call it Tory Fanta lol
Stopped drinking them since they started using sweetener. It gives me a piercing headache the next day.
The orange one isn’t nice anyways, very watery and not much kick. I guess that’s why it says ‘tastefully light’ on them.
literally
“You can take moi freedom, but you can’t take moi San Pell!!”
Any time this happens they’ve done us a favour – we all know this is unnecessary muck, so take this as a nudge to bin it completely.
It’s almost six o’clock
Theyre nestlé anyway. Fuck them.
BTW, it’s funny that any posts on the euromillions win has to go into a megathread now while there is multiple “look at the price of this” posts daily.
Sparkling water and add any fresh juice you want.its always a winner
4 eur in centra yesterday
Shop around for best value
san pel is overrated and overpriced
That’s only very slightly cheaper than beer!!!
The lime & mint SP is nice, but you never see it in supermarkets. Just from some takeaways/restaurants and off licenses.
Try mixing sparkling water and good orange juice. It’s is way nicer and cheaper
Seen someone call this stuff Tory Fanta once and that’s all I see it as now haha
He’s dead, San pelagrino John.
Dunnes is LOVING increasing the prices of everything lately, every week my exact same shopping is costing me more and more
6:20 in Supervalu
6 Mr Price online ( blood orange)
6 Asia market online
Sure why would ye be doing with that aul eytalian shite anyway? We used to have Miwada and a bottle of Barley Water as a treat once a year when the tennis was on.
€4 in centra
€1.16 a can (excluding deposit) isn’t *terrible* to be fair…
San Pellegrino Johnnnnnnnn
San peligrino has been crap since they changed the cans and the recipe anyway.
Who buys this shit anyway?
Same. Went to pick them up at the weekend, saw the price.. fuck that.
Aldi just introduced their version of these for 3.99 could be worth a try
Fuck Nestlé anyway.
You know what a genuinely gorgeous alternative is. Pure orange juice, no bits + sparkling water. About the same, little more maybe, OJ than you’d use miwadi.
Even their plain sparkling water has become extortionate in price. I used to buy the 6 bottles for around €5 about 2 years ago and now it’s close to €12.
Does anyone know a good alternative? (that’s not sodastream)
What shop is this?
Some should make an Instagram or tictok account that looks at irish prices versus prices for the same item in mainland Europe. Call it rip off ireland or what ever. Awful price gouging going on in Ireland. SHAME.
