donald Trump there were anti-Trump demonstrations across the United States under the theme no kings including here in Jackson Mississippi where protesters said no individual is above the law daily it feels to me like we are losing the thread of democracy in our country i’m really concerned about what’s happening to immigrants i mean who in America isn’t an immigrant in Atlanta law enforcement officers used tear gas to divert several hundred protesters off the road they were marching on and in Seattle drone images showed the mass scale of the turnout thousands of people gathered in a park in the center of the city organizers are saying “In America we don’t do kings.” They have defied our courts deported Americans attacked our civil rights the corruption has gone too far on June the 14th we rise up the protest took place on a day of a parade in Washington to commemorate the founding of the US Army 250 years ago and also on the day of Donald Trump’s 79th birthday it doesn’t feel like America anymore we just had two lawmakers shot in their house we just had lawmakers arrested in California for standing up for their for their constituents um it doesn’t feel like a free country we have elections in two years that will change things hopefully we can start to change the tide of sentiment in this country tens of thousands marched in New York unperturbed by the rain and as the United States is beset by conflict on a huge range of issues from migrant rights to billionaire first politics

The ‘No Kings’ protests broke out hours after the killing of a Democratic lawmaker and her husband in Minnesota earlier that day, highlighting rising tensions within a divided country.

  32. Saw mych live. It was police who used violence with gas, rubber bullets etc. And saw protesters basically taking it, not throwing stuff back etc.

    Wondering how devisive fix 'news' will edit the images to make it appear otherwise.

  33. I live in South carolina. Across the state tens of thousands of people turned out. That is spread out over several big cities and a whole bunch of tiny towns.

    The politicians should become aware of this. Plenty of people who are the protests in South Carolina were republicans. After all, we vote about 70% Republican.

  39. 11-14 million people at almost 2000 sites protested against DJT and the MAGA flock in the US on 14 June.
    Very few people went to the parade in DC. Look at the empty seats in the stands.

  40. Compared to all the 'NO KINGS' protests across the country in big cities and small towns, TACO had a dismal turnout for his ego stroking parade. We don't need to flaunt our military strength like some Russian, Chinese or North Korean dictatorship, in fact it was pretty embarrassing. IMO ~an Air Force veteran.

  41. That's an older map from the No Kings site… there were actually 2,000 protests throughout the nation yesterday.

  42. 7,000 troops partook in the parade in DC.
    10,000 onlookers showed up for the parade in DC.
    Organizers had prepared for a turnup of 200,000 onlookers
    And without having any numbers, I think it's safe to say there were a lot more people protesting on that day.
