  1. Why would anyone listen to this has been, he drove Labour to their worst ever defeat in a general election, he has nothing to offer and the electorate made their point

  2. “‘What people are experiencing is intolerable” says former prep school boy raised in 17th century country house on the duke of Sutherland’s estate and living in a million pound house in Islington.
At least the fucking weasel isn’t blaming NATO for the invasion of Ukraine this week.

  3. And the reaction from the gov that you or someone you know voted for ? Increase national insurance ! Ha ! You couldn’t make this up in your wildest dream

  4. > Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who will be speaking at the London demonstration, said: “With rising fuel, food and energy bills, the soaring cost of living is pushing millions into poverty, and the disgusting treatment of the sacked P&O workers needs urgent action from the Government.

Bloody hypocrite! A large part of this cost of living crisis is down to a Brexit he both endorsed and shepherded through.

  5. Demonstrations like this whilst noble won’t actually achieve anything as they are not disruptive enough.

A bills strike, tax strike, general strike – things like that need to be done to bring about actual change.

  6. “Intolerable” to the absolute minority.

Only 45% earn below or up to £600 a week. Over 35% earn over £1000 a week. Which means some 55% of the ENTIRE POPULATION earn over £31k a year.

If you’re on 30 or 40k a year, and you’re married and your spouse is earning too, and you’re suffering and can’t afford to eat or heat your place, you messed up and it’s your own fault. That’s like 2.5k net or more a month for families of over 50% of the population, with an average mortgage of around 750 a month. Who can’t survive on that.

  7. Good. It’s the only way the elites will yield further crumbs. Otherwise it’s gobble gobble gobble at the top, with no trickle down.

  8. Whilst Sir Cloney Blair gets paid to theatrically grandstand in Parliament without any real actual policies or even his own fucking opinions to bring to the table, Corbyn continues to stand up for the workers despite not even being a standing politician any more.

One of these things is not like the other.

  9. Blame the Federal Reserve they did this and exported inflation everywhere else. Yeah yeah supply chain issues or whatever but they fucked up really bad and people need to acknowledge that

  10. They’d be better off getting up off their bum and voting next election. Anything but Tory would improve the situation. Nobody oppresses working classes like them. They’ve even made things difficult for middle class people now. They need to go. Their activity recently has been nothing short of criminal.

  11. Nothing is going to change. Tory voters only interested in inflicting maximum damage on their underlings. Joke’s on you – you should have looked after nan and granddad instead of sending them to an immigrant-run nursing home. They can still vote you know…

  12. Whilst admirable, and I’m pleased people are taking to the streets in solidarity to voice their discontent, I don’t think protests in general will lead to fruitful changes.

Here’s hoping this is a precursor to a more robust move i.e mass strikes nationwide.

  13. The solution is to raise taxes , cut spending and live within our means. The whole world is in a debt bubble and continuously running a deficit only kicks the can down the road. Of course people would rather lower taxes and higher
spending, so that’s what politicians will do. And it will get worse.
