  31. Call me crazy, but Hamilton sucked. And Lin Manuel Miranda is overrated. He has no range, and I’d wager he’s incredibly charismatic and that’s gotten him extremely far. But I find him insufferable. The more hype Hamilton gets the more tedious it becomes.

  35. Hey, I’m going to give some *possible* context here. I used to work for a company whose clients were the ultra wealthy. The 1% of the 1%.

    It’s really common for security and communication software to be loaded up on iPads and similar devices. It’s entirely possible that she was reading a notification from her security team. And it could have been about her safety in the theater.

    Security is a huge problem for people like her. She and others like her have enormous wealth and power. The flip side of that is they lose the freedom and safety of anonymity. They are constantly targeted by criminal organizations, stalkers, and by people in the business world who “just want a moment” of their time. It never turns off, it’s 24/7.

    I’m not saying that we should feel sorry for her. This is the outcome that she wanted and it comes with a hefty price tag on her freedom. It’s also possible that she was just being rude and entitled.
