  4. Saw your post, keep in touch with rendin, and only through rendin, the damage claimed here is unreasonable, you’ll probably end up reaching some kind of settlement.

    Ignore any further communications with the landlord and raise this with the middleman, make sure to collect as much evidence as possible in case you have to settle this in the claims court. At this point this is starting to look like harassment

  6. What frigin parquet is this full wood with golden dust?? Even if its full wood dude how big is the room??? Even random firm who work with floors can mostly change few floor boards at the time…
    Second of all this paper is like toilet paper… Firms who make offers should point out prices with m2 second theres not even information about work they will do (what they use) if it were my home i would stay away from that firm shows how incompetent they are….

  7. It’s not an invoice, it’s a price offer for parquet change, and a pretty vague one, as already mention ed. No type/model of flooring, no m2 calculation, just price.

    I could make it in 5min to whatever price you require.

    There’s no proof that the apartement owner has paid such a sum or that they’ll ever order the job. It’s not an invoice. Just a quote /offer.

  8. He is essentially scamming you. You can say that you’re willing to pay 400-500 for this set of damage, but this requested amount is ridiculous. Other option is court, which will be approximately 700-800 EUR for this small argument.

    – Basically they refused to take offers from multiple repair companies, which is typically done and went with probably the most expensive one.

    – That bill has almost no information, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was faked anyhow.

  12. Its an offer not an invoice but if you ever go this far, ask to see new floor and let contractor invoice you, not them since its you whos paying for the job. But yeah, its absurd to replace the whole floor or to claim that it isnt basic wear. Cheap floors are cheap floors and everything will leave maeks. They either simply want a new floor and rry to make you pay for it or they simply scam money.
