  1. With all the media noise, it can be hard to understand what’s really going on, so I thought a simple visualization would make things much clearer and faster to understand.

Hopefully it is in the spirit of what makes /r/dataisbeautiful so great.

Edit: sorry about the awful AI image, I added it quickly at the end without paying attention.

  2. So that’s about 400 missiles launched in total, if I’m not mistaken. Out of Iran’s estimated stockpile of 2500. Interesting.

  3. I would remove the AI image, it doesn’t make any sense (both rockets are Israeli?) and it doesn’t add any value here.

  4. Why are the missiles bearing the Israeli flag? Are you claiming that Israel bombed themselves?

  5. Get rid of the awful machine generated missiles. It ruins the entire thing.

  6. If the media is accurately reporting all strikes then the combination of Israeli and U.S. defense systems are 90% effective. 42 hit targets of 420 fired

  7. You put # of impacts above # of launches in your legend when it would more sense, both in relation to the graph and in terms of the order of events, to have it the other way around. And I wonder if bars would’ve been cleaner than a line graph.

  8. It looks like the shot exchange rate is getting worse for Israel… they better blow up the rest of the TELs soon if they don’t want to run out of interceptors.
