Anyone else getting screwed over by half the self service at Tesco only accepting card

  1. It’s fucking annoying tbh. Slowly but surely they are getting rid of cash and I don’t like it one bit. Trying to lodge cash in the bank takes some patience these days.

“Excuse me, do you want to use the machine ”

No thanks, I don’t have a card for your bank.

    How is that ?

    I don’t bank with you.

    Then why are lodging money?

It’s not my account and its none of your business.

Same conversation every time and then I’ve noticed the teller is gone in some banks at lunch time,so I can’t lodge then and don’t mention the length of time it takes to actually get it done.

  2. How are there people who don’t have debit cards though? You need one of those to get the cash from the machine in the first place.

  3. How about the people who bag their groceries *after* they’ve paid? Now I have to wait for you to bag all your shit?

You’re supposed to bag as you scan, you idiots, SAVAGES, **IDIOTS!**

  4. Nah I just pay with card. What’s the point in cash anymore. I keep a bit on me in case somewhere doesn’t accept card but that’s about it.

  5. What’s annoying is they always put the card only ones at the back, so people with card see all the people at the cash-and-card machines and think every machine is taken (until an employee comes along and asks). If they just put the card machines at the front, the people with cash only would walk straight to the back and it’d be clear to everyone if machines were free or not.

  6. Anybody who thinks card over cash basically just opens themselves to scrutiny. They can be all “i HaVe NoThInG tO hIdE,” until the day comes where restrictions are made that they don’t agree with.
