  6. I really hope they don’t do The Kurgan again. Clancy Brown annihilated that role and I can’t see anybody else being as good as he was.

    Come up with a different villain for the reboot.

    The article states that United Artists (Amazon MGM) acquired the IP from Lionsgate with plans for a series, don’t know if they meant a film series or another TV series. 🤔

  14. They’ve been close since Henry Cavill was a student at The Stowe School in the UK, a fancy private school that costs tens of £thousands a year. Russell Crowe was filming the movie Proof of Life at Cavill’s fancy school, which by the way has a huge drama department, and Crowe took a shine to the teenage Cavill, sending him care packages and giving career advice. They then went on to star in Man of Steel together. I have no doubt Russell Crowe signing on to both these movies is absolutely down to Cavill being in them.

  28. Clancy Brown is the best villain ever, I rewatched Highlander last week and he looks like he’s having a blast terrorizing New Yorkers. I’ll sit this one out, I like the original because even with its flaws ( Scotsman playing an Egyptian) the good stuff was iconic. Iconic villain , iconic catchphrase and iconic movie soundtrack.
