  7. They don’t need to move them. Don’t B2’s normally fly their strike missions- regardless of where in the world the target is – from their home base in Missouri?

    I don’t know what moving them means though.

  9. B-2’s are very long distance bombers. They are normally stationed in the US. You don’t station them in or near the Middle-East permanently. Way too vulnerable. A move like this means they are only going there for a specific purpose. So it suggests a decision has been made.

    This statement rather depends on how imminent is defined. They can and have attacked before when they have taken off from Whiteman Air Force Base. I kind of think that they are in the air with tankers travelling to the region might qualify as imminent.

  14. These run two-crew flight decks and refuel indefinitely. They’ve likely been in the air for days already waiting if they already left their base. They don’t move them. They have a station where they reside.

    2×30,000lb=60,000lb which is higher than 40,000lb. With the B-2 not carrying any bombs externally.

  22. Looking at flight radar right now you can see 5 Pegasus refueling aircraft just of the coast of sacremento returning, probably refueled the B2’s before their journey over the pacific

  27. I just hope we learned from all the war games we did with us vs Iran. Believe it or not there have been a war game where Iran beats the Us carrier groups due to arrogance of the American leadership. But that requires Iran acquiring a US commander. Look up Millennium Challenge 2002.

  32. Correct me if I‘m wrong but afaik the B-2 is very rarely flown outside of the US so other countries don‘t get the chance to test their radar against it, it‘s pretty much a first strike vehicle, so wouldn‘t this basically confirm what‘s about to happen next?

    They would not expose B-2‘s if there wasn‘t a tactical purpose.

    Not saying this isn’t a thing, but it seems if it was we would have it from some reliable sources.

  34. Perhaps this is made so public to be seen as a threat, but to also provide an obvious close target to hit that will drag us into the conflict.

I was a senior in high school when the Iranian revolution took the Americans hostage and we were an all boys college prep Catholic high School and the entire school gathered and chanted outdoors Fuck Khomeini fuck Khomeini fuck Khomeini out loud really loud, right next to the local public television station in fact. The school leaders did not intervene to stop us.
    So the way I see it this is a bad evil regime in Iran that not only abuses its own people with totalitarian sadistic ways, but also menaces all of its neighbors and the entire world. So they have what’s coming to them. They need to go. I feel badly for all these civilians, innocent, wonderful, lovely Iranian people and people on both sides. I hope that they can all get away and flee to safety before these bombs begin to fall again and again and again until that regime is toppled, decapitated. I know we messed with that country for a long time before this regime, our forefathers CIA, etc. So we need to do everything we can now to help the Iranian people after this. Not just another Shaw dictator bastard.

  37. This is “theatre”.  They need to say that the next step was avoidable. It isn’t. Everyone knows that the Iranian government can/will not step down as it would mean death.

    They really have no option and the stupid fucks should never have been saber rattling at increasing frequency over the last 30-40 years.  They certainly shouldn’t have been funding the organizations that they have been. It was probably a bad idea to fire at Israel and loudly proclaim that they would end them.

    There are no real winner here.  Many people are going to die and innocent will suffer along with the ones that are being targeted. We are about to see a regime change.  I only hope that “someone” doesn’t want to see what a nuke does.
