Probably because they have driven through centre right policies that everyone hates on the left and on the further right. PS voters got nothing what they wanted.
Setting your own house on fire will to do that
It seems that Ayan Randinism and political circuses aren’t too popular in Finland.
Their voters are angry they cut from them too, not just immigrants
Because they promised left economy closer to one of Social Democrats and ended up being same neoliberal lizards as Coalition
I would assume its for a multitude of reasons
1. Their cuts didn’t work and only lost tens of thousands their jobs
2. They’ve turned coats with some of their policies. As expected for a populist party. They promised that national debt gain would be slowed, however the debt gain has stayed the same as the previous government
3. Riikka Purra (leader of the Finns party) is unwilling to take responsibility. Instead she blames immigrants, the left and the media for all problems she has caused. And their voters have gotten tired of it.
4. Riikka Purra is also notoriously disconnected from reality. For example after cutting so many government funds that tens of thousands lost their jobs, she posed on a picture with scissors in her hands, smiling. This pissed off basically everyone.
Because far-right ideology does not really go well with empathy.
They are trying to borrow the Republicans’ playbook and rely on poorer voters voting against their own economic interests just to get anti-immigration and other similar things through. Looks like that’s not working so well for them.
By being a part of the government
The far right can only complain and critizise, the cannot govern
I wish the far-right around the world in general collapsed. Nothing but scum, the lot of them.
Finland far right LOL
I love it when the far right loses
Political parties rooted hate collapses eventually.
It’s rather delusional to refer to PS as far right..
How is PS far right?
Not delivering promises. Instead of helping the poor, helps only the rich.
They are very incompetent. All they have is populism, hate and culture wars. That is very poor foundation for a country and economics.
When has far right ever done anything good in all of history? It shouldn’t be surprising at all.
They’ve seen what is happening in America
People realized alienating from europe is not the answer
It was leaked that according to science making spending cuts doesn’t actually help, quite the contrary.
Populism always fails at some point, when they can’t deliver what they promised.
PS is not really far right. It’s a populist protest party with some far right elements, some leftist social content, and some regional centrist content.
When they have to act all right-wing, and especially have to be responsible instead of just protesting, they will inevitably lose support. It’s the kiss of death for them to be in government.
Cause before election they promised to stand with blue collar workers wich is majority of voters, they got shit load of votes cause of that and got lot of power in government. But then what they did was that they fucked all workers in the ass without vaseline and only made decisions that benefitted rich people, unlike they promised to do.
As someone who voted for PS in the last parliamentary election, i hoped that the right-wing government would be able to cut the budget (that has almost doubled in 15 years) and stop the rise of national debt. I also hoped they would make policy changes and investments that would enable the economy to grow.
While we did get a lot of cuts, the national debt is now rising even faster. Also many of the policy changes seem IMO stupid and potentially even harmful to the economy.
I have never been loyal to any party or political orientation for that matter, so looking forward to the next parliamentary elections, i am considering other options for my vote.
