One year on from their debut at Royal Ascot, they were invited to return as part of the royal procession. As one of the greatest royal honours, it has only fuelled whispers of matrimony between the pair, whose relationship has been blossoming over the past year. The lovebirds arrived in the second carriage after the King and Queen, but there was a noticeable absence from Kate Middleton, who unexpectedly sat out this year’s event.

The invitation to join the prestigious event can be seen as the royal seal of approval for Harriet and Peter. Although this honour is usually reserved for engaged or married couples, the late Queen Elizabeth’s favourite grandson was the special exception. Dating since 2024, it’s reported that the royal it-couple were introduced at a Gloucestershire sports event that they were attending to cheer on their children. Peter Phillips shares two daughters, 13-year-old Savannah and 12-year-old Isla with his ex-wife Autumn Kelly, whom he split with in 2019.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice also appeared in a striking yellow number for the third day of Royal Ascot. The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson stunned in a yellow Monique Lhullier dress with blue floral accents that cinched in at the waist. Pairing the ensemble with a matching cream clutch and netted fascinator, she shot straight to the top of Ascot’s best-dressed lists. Arm and arm with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the 36-year-old mother-of-two looked the picture of fashion forward with her hair slicked back and minimal glowy makeup in the June heatwave.
