    Ireland population is less than 1820 and despite massive economic growth, we still can’t seem to afford to build enough housing. This is not a population issue.

  10. The PSNI are too under-resourced to protect people from loyalist mobs, but overtime on a Saturday afternoon in the sun with virtually no chance of violence breaking out? They’ve 20 or more fully-crewed landrovers surrounding City Hall ready to spring into action if a granny pulls her sticker book out.

  15. The official line was to not intervene **unless there was a threat to lives**. And yes, the police did intervene in the Loyalist riots when that happened. I mean, you got such great videos as the Loyalist rioter getting shot in the balls with bean bag rounds for your entertainment due to PSNI intervention. It’s real easy to make a point when you just lie and create your own reality to do so.
