2. What a joke. The international world order has been buried in the rubble of Ukraine and gaza. ‘Might makes right’ is the new order maybe always was.

3. Neither country would be getting bombed if they had nuclear weapons, as it stands a select few countries get to massacre their neighbors with impunity thanks to their nuclear arsenal

   from my perspective, they’re not as bad as England, Turkey, or Azerbaijan, but they just can’t help themselves.

5. Merkel has to be one of the most overhyped leaders of the 21st century. Almost every major move she made in the realm of foreign policy was a disaster.

   Helped enforce austerity in Europe post-2009, leading to a decline in living standards and the rise of the far-right.

   Made Germany even more reliant on Russian gas pipelines, which obviously backfired post-Ukraine invasion.

   Helped cement “Staatsräson” as a bipartisan consensus that made the political establishment in Germany completely subservient to Israel even as they became more extreme and hostile to Palestinian existence.

   Why exactly was she so celebrated again?

6. At this point Israel could literally nuke Tehran and European leaders would still say this it’s Iran’s fault and Israel has the right to defend itself.
