As an American, can someone explain to me the repercussions if Le Pen wins?
What few people are aware (or care) is that Macron probably as authoritarian as Le Pen. He used violence against several peaceful demonstrations. He also passed ‘exception state’ bills to the ordinary corpus of law. The biggest difference between both of them is that he is in favor of super rich already in place (banks, LVMH, Bolloré, Free…)
Not being Putin’s puppet is sadly he’s biggest asset.
>A placard reading, “Neither Le Pen nor Macron” is seen during a demonstration against far-right, racism and fascism ahead of the second round of the 2022 presidential election, in Paris, France, April 16, 2022
Maybe this mean they won’t even turn out for Macron as many expect.
