De-training onto the tracks like that is typically a last resort and will have taken a while to organise, including isolations, getting staff on site etc.
Well done to the people on the train for keeping their heads whilst this was organised, must have been awful stuck on there.

29 years later filming I think
I don’t know why you couldn’t just get another train to come and push it. Is it too heavy or something?
Which line was this?
Vuj being on this train is so funny
It would be cool to experience this one day but not in the heat
That damned train
god, as someone that works for the overground and network rail, the anxiety it gives me just watching general public step onto tracks like that is insane.
Must have been mental to get isolations on that.
I’d wait until most had crossed the other track before trusting that the electricity’s been switched off.
I blame the hot weather.
What a joke London has become.
Everyone in that train should be getting compensated.
Well it’s warm. Course it doesn’t work
how long (accurately) were they stuck on the train for please?
