  1. The contrast between a professional like Dan Caine and a hack like Pete the DUI hire is stark.

  2. “Our disciple related to operational security” While standing next to Pete signal chat Hegseth himself, fucking lmao

  3. The US better hope that Iran hasn’t bought a nuke from Russia (or will now).

As long as nukes exist, it is always, always, always a possibility that someone fires one. And then it’s lights out for everybody.

  4. Oh and they still have nuclear capabilities lmao. Buried **that** lede.

  5. As a non-US observer, this constant back-slapping and bragging about the power of the US military by these two is very strange. Of course the US has by far the strongest military in the world, but they talk about it like it’s a video game.

  6. Democrats, wake up. Trump’s favorability is about to go up when there’s no fall out. Israel and the US just proved how weak Iran is and setting back their nuclear program by decades is a success. I don’t like Trump but hard to see that anything but a win for him. The average person won’t care whether he did this with Congressional approval or not, unless there’s fallout from this (actually expanded war that draws US troops in), Dems just gave Trump the biggest win.

  7. “Anything can happen.” Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on the possibility of escalating U.S. involvement in the war.

  8. Hegseth is like an excited child on Christmas morning. Cain is the ultimate professional. One belongs, the other does not.

  9. This administration lies so much that it’s sometimes difficult to believe anything they say. In the past when they’ve had these press releases the other country was like ‘that’s not what happened at all.’

  10. Dropping bombs on nuclear facilities is a very fine line to dropping an actual nuke on a country, IMO.

He must really want that chunk of Gaza strip.

  11. So no one is going to ask why they didn’t seek congressional approval? I’d like to see how the DUI hire answers that

  12. Any news on the actual damage done? Trumps claim of obliterated is obviously not trustworthy

  13. Hope there are atleast some adults in the room to realize that a full scale boots on the ground war against Iran will be a bloodbath. It’ll make Iraq and Afghanistan look like a walk in the park

  14. Hegseth during the pentagon briefing moments ago: “This operation was planned weeks and weeks in advance”

However, Israel and Iran have been fighting for 9 days.

Israel strikes Iran, Iran retaliates. US launches attack on Iran last night.

Wake up, Trump and Netanyahu have been planning this for months

  15. This picture says a lot. Vance is not feeling this. The other three wore the same tie and appeared huddled together. That says solidarity to me.

Vance has different tie and is not close to them.

  16. Not beating the rumor that all the intel said Iran wasn’t making a bomb, but Trump’s all-seeing very large a-brain said “oh yes they are”

  17. Hegseth’s speech sounded like a N.Korea propaganda commercial.

  18. If anyone’s watching ABC, they’re now talking about “Iran might have sleeper cells inside certain US states” so we know that news agencies have already gotten their talking points directly from the White House

  19. Hegseth delivered a long blow job on public television. Not a single piece of useful information.

  20. I think nobody doubts the military operation and that it was executed professionally, but the rest of the press conference was pure propaganda and complete bullshit. But everybody knows this of course.

Trump was caught with his pants down so they fabricated this “This was planned for weeks or months” nonsense to make it sound like he knew what he was doing. Pure bullshit.

  21. The thing that makes me cringe the most about American politics these days is the use of the word “powerful”.

Everything Trump does/says he does is “powerful”, everyone looking to kiss Trump’s ass says that everything he does is “powerful”.

Honestly, man. There’s easier ways to tell the world that Stormy Daniels was telling the truth about your one inch wonder.

  22. Used to think Trump was a Lannister. But plot twist might turn out to be a secret Targaryen.

  23. Hesgeth got through signalgate w a few days of spicy interviews. Then of course that failed parade. On to the next shiny object

  24. Iran closing the straight of Hormuz is a stupid idea, it’s pretty much an invitation for the US to destroy the navy of Iran.
