This country isn’t going to get anywhere.
Absolutely embarrassing, over 7000 objections for a loss of less than 5% of the car parking spaces (which were shown to be under used). How are we possibly going to face any significant overhaul of our infrastructure that is badly needed when the only voices being heard in the public sphere are SUV driving NIMBYs..
Local business owners voting to make themselves less successful because they’re too pigbrained to realise that making towns better for walking and cycling massively boosts the local economy. God, why are these moronic objections still taken seriously when they have been so consistently been proven ridiculous.
