  1. Trump doesn’t know how to end a speech or stop talking. So, he had a brain Fart and blabbed some *God* shite.

  2. It has SANE people concerned. American Christians and conservatives love it because they see it as the government embracing their religion. A lot of them also see Trump as god delivered to save America.

  3. Trump is a fake Christian that’s why he sounds so stupid when he mentions God.

  4. “With God On Our Side” by Bob Dylan

With God on our side, we can justify anything.

  5. Tuned into both Trump’s press statement last night and Hegseth this morning. They both went heavy on the religious tones, which is the messaging that the Heritage Foundation is pushing. Can’t return to Conservative and traditional family values if the top isn’t pushing at least lip service to it all the time.

  6. I am so incredibly sick of this kid glove language.

*”Concerned”?!* We are ***WAY*** past “concerned”!

  7. The time for concern was 2016 – 2020. The time to address it was 2021 – 2024.

  8. I’d like to know if Trump even knows how to spell
    God.

  9. “The Rapture is about unfastening, being “citizens of heaven” and breaking with all that’s difficult and risky about life among humans. Is there a more attractive notion than to be spirited away and freed of responsibility? The fate of the Earth may be unknowable, or catastrophic – you don’t have to care.”

    – Christopher Hitchens

  10. He was trying to express the weight of the situation, but he’s never even thought to believe in God.

  11. The “we’d like to thank…awkward pause…God” was so weird. It was like an awards ceremony acceptance speech.

  12. so none of his other talk for the last decade or more has had people concerned?

  13. Its been said,

    >”Divine permission, given to people who think they have god on their side, enables actions that a morally normal unbeliever would not contemplate”

It is those people that believe they have God on their side, are the ones that we need to worry about.

  14. He’s gonna go away for like “two weeks” and come back with the Big, Beautiful, Newest Testament.

  15. It rang so hollow when he finished his speech last night with the God talk. He’s so clearly irreligious, the words felt like empty air when he uttered them.

  16. There are too many things to be concerned about to count

  17. *And I want to just thank everybody. And, in particular, God. I want to just say, we love you, God, and we love our great military. Protect them. God bless the Middle East. God bless Israel and God bless America.*

Does not capture the awkward pauses, and was just odd. I’ve heard plenty of elderly start to slip & this sounded worse.

  18. Yea, it’s never good when narcissists start leaning on god for protection. Thats how you know they’re scared.

  19. I grew up in a Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage household. I knew the organization “Focus on the Family” from their tagline at the end of Christian-themed radio dramas like *Unshackled* or various other FM Radio Evangelical broadcasts. I was an altar boy in a small, Lutheran Church (the only child, actually). Suffice to say, I was raised “deep in the stuff” by thrice-divorced parents in rural North Carolina.

The number of times in my life I have heard my batshit insane family say Trump was “sent by God” to “save America” is almost exactly equal to the number of times I’ve been told (by the same people) that “God doesn’t need you to be a good Christian to save America.” That’s the kind of actual, insane, dangerous cognitive dissonance we’re dealing with here. Somehow, a country founded by some of the *least* religious thinkers of their day has become a place where even the barest hint of inquiry into religious values and beliefs is a third rail issue that resolves in Christians claiming there’s some kind of “anti-Christian bias” because I have a vague curiosity where their central text tells them to live like violent, selfish, awful people.

A politician using the word “God” in this prescriptive sense *never* ends well.

I have a deep and abiding belief in a Creator. My creator, however, isn’t the kind of deadbeat dad to send his kid to be crucified because he wasn’t totally clear about why you can’t eat *those* apples some thousands of years prior. My creator isn’t so pitifully human as to demand the worship of mewling insects who can’t even be bothered to feed one another. Whatever created everything, if it has any vested interest in us at all, would probably be *more* upset that several million people have spent most of human history using some manipulated version of its beneficence to condone their violent, selfish, awful behaviors.

  20. They aren’t coming from him, theyre coming from Huckabee through him. Huckabee wants to start the end times.

  21. Historically speaking, doesn’t that God guy love when millions die as long as he gets street cred?

  22. I think he has a lot of people telling him he was chosen by god to rule and is starting to believe it.

  23. “And god, we love you” lol it was so cringeworthy

  24. It’s just propaganda. Drumming up the Holy War Israel shit.

  25. “…we love you God.” made this atheist wince and cringe.

  26. A man who has zero belief in God passing himself off as some sort of Super Christian for all the idiot evangelicals who have thrown their Bibles into the fire to worship Trump the Savior.

    Sickening.

  27. It has me concerned because we know for a fact that he isn’t religious at all. Trump has spent more time inside pornstars than he has inside a church.

TODAY is Sunday, you think Trump went to church today?

  28. Hitler died 1945, Trump was born 1946

Demented Trump is the devils dumbass version of Hitler reincarnated

  29. Id like to thank especially The Flying Spaghetti Monster for guiding our arm force.

  30. “We love you, God.” He sounded so wildly stupid and childlike that I laughed. We’re being governed by a toddler who would kill us all for $5 and some praise.

  31. There is a direct correlation to how evil or wrong something they are doing is and the amount of religious pandering.

The worse something is, the more they are going to name-drop God and virtue signal their faith. This is also applies to these women in the administration wearing these oversized gaudy crosses when they are on tv lying as well.

  32. religion is cancer.

all the folks saying donnie john ain’t a ‘real’ christian. look at what ‘real’ christians have done throughout history. every major fascist regime rose to power thanks to christians. it’s a religion built for tyrants.

  33. He is trying to make this a religious war and wants his Christian/Evangelist/etc nutjob supporters on board.

  34. His speeches are written by the people that wrote project 2025

  35. The 3 Abrahamic religions are doing whatever they can to end humanity. More proof their God is a genocidal psychopath who hates humans. Never trust any religion whose goal is the end of the world.

  36. THAT has people concerned? The guy is an absolute lunatic. Everything he does as president of the United States of America should have you concerned

  37. Start at 3:20 if you don’t want to listen to him talk for 3 fucking minutes.

  38. “We love you god” was hilarious. Especially coming directly from the antichrist.

  39. His swaying to Ave Maria for 40 minutes as a rally was concerning, and yet enough morons still voted for this present timeline.

  40. ?! All the insane, dumb, stupid, racist, ignorant, impulsive – did I say stupid already – shit he has said, and THIS is what raised a flag?! This ought to be good….[goes to actually read the article now]
