That is sort of the point though. We had civil war for more than a decade in Syria with lots of proxy forces. The same could be desirable in Iran for certain groups as it would remove it as a rival for Iran in the region.
That’s exactly what Israel wants, chaos across the Middle East so it stands out as the only stable, thriving state. When the region is in constant turmoil, people are angrier, more desperate, more prone to violence and that plays right into the narrative that fuels Western resentment. It also makes it easier for others in the region to turn a blind eye when Israel bombs their neighbours.
The puppet US serves for that. That’s why Iraq was destroyed, Libya and Syria. After Iran, it will be Lebanon as laud mouths among them claim.
Once done, they will have to only keep those countries destabilized, and there will be no support left for the native peoples resistance against the genocide. Complete extermination will be done in the silence.
I mean how gullible and supremacist the west can be? After what happened with the foreign imposed government in the middle east. When will they ever learn?
I don’t support any attempt by Israel or the US to change the Iranian regime, but I’m sure people would have said this about Syria as well. The latest regime change in Syria went surprisingly well.
It’s chaotic when you try to import democracy into a culture that is fundamentally not compatible with democracy.
Do you see chaos in Syria? Nope. That was regime change. Even as he still had a price on his head, Sharaa had Uncle Sam’s blessing by the end.
Can’t wait to see the coronation ceremony of Shah Pahlavi. 🦁
In a span of a little over 50 years Israel by good luck, direct action or coercion of its partners has toppled just about every single adversary in the Arab world. If Iran falls Saudi Arabia is the only one left and they’re nowhere near a strong enough state to oppose them. The USA will be leaving the region to Israel to control and moving their focus to the pacific. Can’t say I like them but it is a masterclass in strategic planning.
Russia and especially China will regret leaving the region to their demise when the US and all its power is at their doorstep with no other major distractions. Russia was a major source of stability in the area but with their war in Europe couldn’t maintain its presence to the same degree. The new geopolitical board is slowly starting to take shape before our eyes.
“Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it.”
The United States achieved regime change in Iran 72 years ago, and it’s how we got to where we are now. It would be a colossal mistake to try it again.
There’s always a bigger fish, america should know this by now with the past 30 years of Middle East diplomacy.
Wouldn’t be surprised if another Kim Jong Un popped up in irans leaders place. Just gotta hope somehow a progress democratic revolutionary whos self richeous takes over.
Of course it would, but it’d be far less chaos than when this regime was implemented.
Why are we defending oppression and inequality for women and minorities? Isn’t a bit of chaos okay if it means they gain freedom?
