Rain in St.Petersburg, Russia

  1. Awesome city, but it has the worst weather I’ve ever experienced in my life. I was there for like a week in August (pre-pandemic) and there was a constant, annoying drizzle 24/7. I wouldn’t last more than a couple of weeks there tbh.

  2. Last summer was satisfyingly hot. Though, now we had that worst time of the year: cold, dark, wet, sometimes windy.

The photo itself is taken in summer, I guess.

  3. St. Petersburg can be considered a London of Russia. At least I made up this opinion from stories of my friends who were or live in London. Een if it isn’t it still is a very beautiful, but unfortunately cold and very rainy (Double the “very rainy” by 3) city.

  4. Beautiful picture – but it could be London, Manchester, Berlin or Stockholm, really – if one doesn’t look too closely at the signage.

  5. A really beautiful city. I was staying there for a month more than a decade ago now. The different surrounding castles are also great.
