How long until a similar idea appears under Patel? She already tried Ascension Island and is now looking to Rwanda. If this fails, where will she look next? This is going to be her pet project and she seems to want this to be her legacy. As long as she is Home Secretary, she will seek to create the most hostile environment for immigrants the UK has ever known.

He’s right. It is essentially state-sponsored people trafficking. I didn’t think the Tories could stoop any lower, but I guess I was wrong.
Do we agree something at least needs to happen or are we just burying our heads and hoping the situation magically resolves itself?
