EU should be open to resuming Russian gas imports, says Austria

1. No surprise, the corruption of Russia runs very deep across Europe.

   Seriously, *fuck them all*. We can talk about buying gas from Russia again – but *only* after the last Russian invader has left the whole territory of Ukraine, reparations have been paid and, preferably, the last Wagner mercenary has left Africa. That, however, won’t happen any time in the near to mid future.

   Wow that is truly pathetic. I understand that gas is important, but surely there is another solution? Maybe not one that is as cheap, but how can you ever trust Russia? I guess Austria does not actually care because there is a “Buffer zone” between them and Russia. They would have to attack quite a few NATO nations to get to them i guess. This is the privilege of having someone else protect you (yes i know what my flair is lol). This is why you dont see Poland rushing to buy Russian gas after the war ends, essentially funding their enemy while they lick their wounds.

   I think more nations are interested in Russian gas, but they know they cannot say this right now. The EU is about to try to ban Russian gas from 2026, so i guess we will see if that passes. Austria and other more gas dependant nations gets until 2028. Maybe once Putin is gone they will be back to buying it.

4. Ah its comes from one of those ÖVP Clowns, they are our conservative Partie.

   Our right wing party openly loves to suck Russias dick, those guys do the same but they try to hide it more. They are know to be the “bitches of the rich” in Austria, not really competent but a lot of networks and people in important positions.

   No wonder she tries to push that, they love Money and a lot of Russian assets here in Austria.

5. No, we are very picky about what warmongering, genocidal nation we support at all costs and which one we sanction to a point that hurts us way more then them.

   Now let me show you the olympic-grade mental gymnastics to justify that this is not painfully hypocritical.
