  1. Will keep an eye on Facebook marketplace and local cash converter/cex shops for you pal 👍

  2. The guy seems to be wearing a working apron; perhaps he works nearby?

  3. How could something like this happen twice in a year? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c981d427d1ro.amp

Edit: just realised it’s the same news, then why they’re publishing it again?

  4. Crazy that someone would steal something so valuable in a pub. What a loss!

  5. It’s worded perfectly fine for people who can do mental reasoning without being handheld?

Would you ever advise someone to bring such an expensive item to a pub that won’t be on their person all the time (or even if it was on their person)?

  6. Kind of a pointless thing to steal because selling it would be incredibly difficult. Unless you have a buyer on the black market, all notable violin dealers will be made aware of the theft and selling it to anyone legally would be next to impossible.

  7. What knobhead takes a 150 grand violin to a pub, and leaves it unattended?

  8. CCTV is mentioned, but all I can see are stills from the CCTV. Anyone have links?

  9. You would expect the violin owner to be more careful with his possessions, especially when they’re so expensive.
