5. A very curious mistranslation. The dude in a maroon windbreaker says: "when they are shooting at THEIR OWN PEOPLE" vs the mistranslation of "when Russians are targeting civilians and residential areas." That's a huge mistranslation. The dude is implying that he considers the Russians to be his people and that he knows that the Russians consider the denizens of Odessa to be their people. He is outraged. Hence is 'why are you shooting at your own people?' meaning we are YOUR people, i.e. we, the denizens of Odessa, are Russians. A curious mistranslation indeed.
