Princess Eugenie of York closed out Royal Ascot this Saturday with a bright and sunny appearance.
The royal arrived at the famous horse racing competition in a horse-drawn carriage, making her entrance alongside husband Jack Brooksbank. The couple was also joined by racehorse trainer Ed Walker and his wife, Camilla Walker.

For the elegant occasion, Eugenie opted for a monochrome tangerine-orange ensemble. It was composed of a short-sleeve midi dress and a matching hat—an absolute necessity at the posh horse race.

The dress had a subtle chest cutout and a sash that tied around the high neck. The princess’ hat sat tilted atop her head, and was embellished with a single bright orange feather.

Eugenie took a cue from Princess Kate by completing her look with beige suede singback pumps, as well as a beige top-handle bag and dangly earrings adorned with green and sky-blue gems.

Following tradition, Jack was dapper in a black tailcoat, matching trousers, a navy vest worn over a white dress shirt, and a black top hat. He added some color to the look via a red patterned tie.

Once the races of the day ended, Eugenie took the stage to present the Hardwicke Stakes trophy to jockey William Buick, who rode Rebel’s Romance.

Royal Ascot this year began on June 17, with King Charles III and Queen Camilla making their entrance in a horse-drawn carriage to kick off the event. The 2025 race was held in partnership with quintessential British country estate Beaverbrook, who decorated the grounds with pink striped hot air balloons where royals, celebrities, and VIP guests alike were able to enjoy al-fresco dining experiences.
Other royals who attended the race over the course of the week included Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, as well as Zara Tindall, Princess Anne, and Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton.
