  1. Honest question – what chain of events could culminate in Iran having elections?

They had a democratic culture not too long back, unlike say, Afghanistan.

  2. He should have played this whole thing differently.

He should have denounced Israel for the hostilities, but ridiculed the regime, it’s inability to defend itself…

That would have got rid of the ‘puppet aura’ or at least reduced it.

  3. Yup, let’s hear from the famlly of a nasty dictator whose reign contributed to the rise of the current regime

  4. So as usual, regime change is being planned . Israel is terrorist of the region and USA is bully of whole world

  5. Yeah, this ain’t it. Taking it from a nepo-baby is irrelevant.

  6. I remember wealthy Iraqis in the diaspora like Chalabi and Allawi telling us that they would be respected and that America would be honored for invading Iraq…..It feels like its the same gimmick again here. Those former two had some professional careers to their names. To my knowledge, Reza has not held a professional job in his entire life.

  7. Reza Pahlavi and the American diaspora has got to be the most delusional fouls ever

He genuinely overestimated his popularity he has inside Iran, especially after the current events

Half my family has no idea who this man is

  8. I respect your father. 40 years he wanted complete dominion over his land. He compromised. He was a puppet of the US.

  9. Lmao guy wants the Chalabi treatment (fantasy) but will get the Chalabi treatment (actual).

  10. His father should have been given the same fate of other 20th century dictators. But instead he was able to loot the country before departing and plunging it into a crisis of succession. The only actual “Persians” you’ll see online asking for his return are either Jewish-Iranians or exiled Shah supporters who believe in Making Iran Great Again. He otherwise has no base in Iran, no expertise, no connections to the current country, is working for two of Iran’s sworn enemies. Why should anyone care what he has to say about this conflict?

The Kurds/Baloch/Moderate Iranians/Afghans refugees are more capable of overthrowing the government than this guy, lets hear from them about what future they envision for the country.

Iran needs regime change and the Ayatollah must leave, but restoring a hated monarchy from the 70s in 2025 is insanity, democracy is the ONLY way to start anew in the 21st century.

  11. “my father was the Shah AMA”

“My father was the Shah AITA” (now my phone is blowing up/my family is divided/fast forward to…”

  12. Random westerner with a famous dad has opinion that benefits himself.

  13. Don’t mention Uncle Philly

    Don’t mention Uncle Philly

    Don’t mention Uncle Philly

    Don’t mention…
