  2. And like clock work, israel breaks a ceasefire based on lies yet again. Bibi is so terrified of going to jail he will drag his whole country into wars so he never leaves office.

  3. You cant have a ceasefire with no one trustful holding on it. Iran also should have made ceasefire conditional on Gaza ceasefire. Iran leadership squanders too much goodwill here.

If I was Israel and had just declared victory in a war that I started and didn’t have a good way of ending without foreign help, and then the enemy popped off a parting shot that did little to no damage, I think I’d give it a beat before making any further statements that required me to hop back into the same mess I just got pulled out of.

    Like maybe give Iran a chance to make a statement about the strike and see if it’s likely to repeat? Israel *loathes* it if they don’t have the last word though, regardless of damage done, so it doesn’t surprise me they instantly popped off with new threats of big retaliation.

    Given that Iran has now denied even firing a missile it seems like Israel could’ve just shrugged it off and taken the win. Instead they just committed themselves to another war they have no way of winning.

  6. I’ve had nights out that lasted longer than that. We can all speculate who broke it. But it’s clear Iran were getting packed up and a ceasefire was a lifeline to them. Israel had the upper hand, and america clearly bought Israel to heel on the ceasefire.

    There’s only one party whose interest is to continue fighting right now.
