Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is poised to meet US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the NATO summit in a bid to turn the page on strained relations between the two countries, people familiar with the matter said, APA reports citing Bloomberg.
The meeting is expected to take place in The Hague late on Tuesday, the people said, speaking on condition of anonymity as the talks are private. US officials didn’t immediately respond to a request to comment.
