I don’t blame her husband if he’s too tired to pursue litigation, but every single person who used their online presence to bully and harass that woman deserves to be sued for everything they have. This is so heartbreaking. I’ve been watching her since high school and have always been in awe of how she always gave her all to take care of those foxes. I’m so, so heartbroken for her, her husband, her child, and the foxes that loved her so much. I hope she rests in peace and I wish everyone affected peace.

18. I’ve never heard of this person until today. Why would you hate anyone this way, especially someone trying to do good? Apparently a lot of people targeting her were people she knew in real life so it isn’t even like she could just walk away from the internet.

24. I knew mikayla growing up as the same mentor that helped her get her shot in life did the same for me. Its a really shitty thing to learn happened reading through reddit. Im going to miss getting to see her live her dreams out

25. reddit needs to shut down these snark subs, they are simply unhinged and allow people to basically monetize systematic online harassment by giving them a hub to funnel people to content creators whose entire content catalogue is harassing people they don’t like. I’m all for criticism and disagreement and most people understand that harsh treatment comes with creating content for public consumption, but there has to be a line. there are whole economies based on hate watching. this will happen again if they don’t do something to put some guardrails around this behavior.

    Welfare have high suicide rates. Makes me think of the cat rescuer a few years ago. So sad.

28. Reddit needs to ban every snark sub without exception. So many people have been targeted, shamed, bullied, lied about, attacked, and even pushed into suicide. There’s no reason communities based on hate and bullying should be tolerated.
