    Russia is never giving Crimea and eastern Ukraine back

    And Russia is never taking Kyiv or crossing the river

  6. The West doesn’t want Ukraine to win, instead they are allowing Putin to build an invasion force for a meatgrinder war against NATO.

    Putin + those around him, Russian generals are all totally deluded if they think they are ever winning in Ukraine. The Russian army, military is completely hollowed out, with no where to go now.

    Trump with his peace plan was Putin’s way out and they messed it up by demanding too much and offering no concessions.

  14. It’s just an insane take. Ukraine cannot beat Russia in the current conflict, it’s just an impossibility. Maybe the US plus Ukraine could. Ukraine’s only hope is many other countries joining in some small way that doesn’t escalate to where China would get involved, but enough that Russia would feel pressured to sue for peace.

    The simple reality is Russia’s war machine is bigger, and they have a lot more people to throw into the meat grinder.

  17. I think the US has been slow rolling this conflict since the start. To generate a forever war for Moscow that exposes not only how weak they really are to the world but also leaves them preoccupied and drained for the foreseeable future. The west could deliver some bad blows if they wanted but bleeding Russia out seems to be the go to.

  18. Russia’s economy is collapsing. Ukraine has to keep holding the line until Russia can no longer afford to pay for the war.
