I sincerely hope that the world starts to actually do something with what is going on in Sudan. All too often people turn a blind eye to Africa because of the history after colonialism.
I knew this was happening but MSM and social media had Gaza as being a priority.
Sudan is a sorrowful situation as the massive amount of death and famine has been pretty much overlooked, even by the U.N whose job it is to highlight and respond.
It’s bloody disgraceful by any measure.
No one is paying for protestors to get out and block roads in the name of innocent Sudanese people. Not sure why, is it a race thing? Is it political interest? Is it all of the above?
The fact is that the g-word is being used freely for protesting another conflict, while Sudan (where millions died, got injured or displaced) goes totally unnoticed.
It’s now at the point, where these ‘full-time protestors’ are losing all credibility for their cause because what they’re obsessed with (I get it, you gotta earn an income somehow), is insignificant compared to some of the real shit that’s out there.
People are people you know, how can you be out there every day for years speaking for thousands while completely ignoring millions?
