Denmark’s state operator retains strong market share in Q1 — CDC Gaming

Denmark’s state-owned operator, Danske Spil, has seen a rise of 2.5% YoY in GGR for the first quarter of 2025.

Total GGR stood at DKK 1.3bn [$203m], which constituted an increase of DKK 32m [$5m] compared to the DKK 1.2bn in Q1 2024. The growth was driven by Danske Spil’s lottery products, with higher YoY turnover recorded across all of its three flagship lottery subsidiaries…

Danske Licens Spil, launched by Danske Spil Group to compete in the regulated market as a licence holder, saw an increase of DKK 3m in GGR due to sports games and iGaming.

The DKK 11m more in GGR realised by Det Danske Klasselotteri, which finds its roots back to 1753, reflected a change to its “15 is magic” product in Q4 2024.
