It’s incredible how much reputational and tourism marketing damage he’s managed to achieve in just 6 months. It’ll take a long time to rebuild that, and that’s assuming politics over there ever flips back to sanity. You could be looking at a decade or more of this.

Went to Vegas 2 weeks ago and not a single thing asked at the Visa section in Dublin airport not even why I was travelling. Don’t believe all the fear mongering, if people have told you they get questioned its either random or they have a reason to get questioned not for a couple of memes.

as a person who lives in the United states, literally nothing has changed in the real world. if you didn’t go on your phone or tv in the last 8 years you’d barely notice any change except inflation which has been steadily rising for the last decade. the news media is all for profits and makes it look like it’s chaos and everyone believes it. it’s a shame, but politics in ireland are about the same in the US it doesn’t effect daily life
I really enjoy those ads. Presumably they weren’t cheap, yet everyone who looks at them will just go “Nah, thank you”
