Apart from the accent, you see exactly the same people on suburban streets in the UK every day.
It’s about context. Ukranian men have been conscripted to fight Russia so the refugees in this case are kids, women and the old or disabled. It’s a very black and white scenario.
Syria is a civil war, many of the fleeing are men. Half of them could simply be soliders who comitted war crimes and fled because their side started losing.
It’s these comments and other’s why I dont like labour anymore they always using manipulation.
The support likely comes because Ukraine could trigger World War 3 while Syria could not. Yemen isn’t a key location to preventing total war that could kill the human race but Ukraine could be.
