They freak me out when I was little and they still freak me out now

  1. The one with the girls legs crushed up against the wall screaming in agony with her dead bf beneath her… Christ almighty that was chilling stuff…

  2. I’m pretty sure the creators of those ads also did the race against waste ad with the tsunami of garbage. I feel that needs to be back on TV to remind people not to hang dog**** bags from trees .

  3. *This is Michael. Today he will hit his girlfriend so hard she will end up with permanent brain damage.*

    **Samantha Mumba intensifies**

  4. I love them from a metrics perspective.

“Let’s take one of the things in ireland probably the least likely to kill you and then terrify the population with it.”

  5. The car flipping over and rolling into a bunch of kids on a picnic like bowling pins, was when they went a bit over the top I think!

  6. Watching 4 people die horribly at 2 in the afternoon always made me think “who are these demon-people signing off on these?”

  7. Do ye remember one in the mid nineties to “What a wonderful world” which ended with a child lying dead on the road. Terrifying. And It freaked me out that her school uniform was very similar to mine.

  8. The car flipping over the fence and crashing into the family playing in their back garden was too much but still to this day I will not buy a house close to a road. Saying that I’ll probably never own a house. I think all those adds are to blame for my anxiety starting as a kid.

  9. I don’t mind them, I don’t find them particularly distressing. I remember seeing Australian ones that were very graphic. I don’t know how effective our ones are at influencing behaviour.
