“Euphoria” star Barbie Ferreira will be honored with the Rising Star Award at the Golden Bee Awards capping the third Mediterrane Film Festival in Malta. Presenters for the awards gala on Sunday will include Anna Camp, Chris Perfetti, Karen Pittman, Jared Harris, Edmund Donovan and Joaquim De Almeida.
The ceremony will highlight Malta’s film centennial, celebrating a century of cinema and cultural impact in the island nation.
The Rising Star Award is selected by Mff’s Festival Director, Festival Curator and Malta’s Film Commissioner, with the goal of recognizing an emerging star who has made a break-out contribution to the international filmmaking landscape.
