  11. His face paint has a little too much brown. As usual, the consistency is all over the place. You would think they had a specific mixture of colors in his face paint so it doesn’t stand out (more than an 80 year old guy wearing orange paint on their face already stands out). Isn’t the idea to make it look real and not like someone who had 5 minutes to paint their face and that’s as good as they could do? This is what I don’t understand. If you are an image obsessed person……why look like THAT?

  15. The word Trump is looking for is “puffery.” Puffery a subjective exaggeration that no reasonable person would take literally, like “world’s best coffee.” It’s a legal defense to claims of false advertising.

    That said, Trump’s statement was not puffery. The claim that he could end the Ukraine War “in 24 hours” was specific and measurable. Specific and measurable claims like “this product boosts immunity by 50%” or “9 out of 10 doctors recommend this product” are not puffery but, if false, are just lies. And if they are used to con unwitting consumers, they are false advertising.
