Few hours ago, this unusually large pigeon landed on my balcony and hasn't left since. Its color is quite different from the usual city pigeons, and even when I try to scare it away, it just flies off and comes right back.
I noticed it has a black tag on one of its legs. Does anyone know what that might mean? Is it trained or someone's pet?

That’s a leather band, indicating it’s from Berlin.
perhaps dat bird is “Bout it Bout it!”
People who breed birds put the leg rings on their birds to better identify them, like to differentiate between a male and a female, birth year etc.
This pigeon likely escaped their cage and will very likely die due to predators.
