Bosnia’s disintegration would affect entire region, says peace envoy

  1. I don’t agree. The separation if anything will draw a final line under the whole saga. I really cannot understand the obsession with forcing these miserable solutions that leave adversaries in a frozen conflict situation, tethered in a death grip in a failing state. An independent Northern Ireland would be a similar shit-state.

  2. One more example of how desperately Europe needs the United States.

Not just as a military protector.

But as a steel backbone, in the face of the OMON, the KGB, the FSB, GRU, and SVR. Not to mention, the P.R.C.

Now is the time for Germany and France and the UK to request U.S. Army and Navy presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ideally, in Croatia, Kosovo, Slovenia, Hungary, Albania, Montenegro, and North Macedonia as well.

And, it is always possible, the ability to act promptly, will hang fire even with the most vivid awareness by informed people in Europe.

The U.S. Congress, will, of course, drag its heels. As will the U.S. Army.

Maybe ask Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, and Canada. A distant second preference.
