  1. Should the regime ultimately crumble, who’s the likeliest to take over? Will it be the Shah’s son? A general gone rogue? A civil society figure? A technocrat?

  2. It looks like china will step in to keep the current regime in power. With strings attached of course.

     China has long wanted to control Iran  for their belt and road project and to build a oil pipeline from the Caspian Sea to China. 

     

  3. it’s truly amazing that every news site only posts these kinds of picture of Iranian women…..such an insanely bad representative of most of the women there. The ones fighting to NOT wear a hijab and getting killed for it. It’s shaping a picture of how *they* want us to see them. It’s just bad journalism.
