What a complete waste of time. He was never winning that.

That sounds like it would have been mayhem, and waste so much court time and public funds.
I imagine social work, like teaching, is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. As a teacher I’ve filled in enough criminal convictions declaration forms to know that, if that is the case, it’s made clear on the form.
Did he represent himself? If not, there should be sanctions against his legal representatives. I hope he pays costs.
Fucking cunt destroyed any credibility for the Socialist party so now we’re left with Byres Road Soy latte NIMBYs as the most leftwing party in parliament.
“Ghost ah shagging past” coming back to haunt him
>Did he represent himself?
I completely forgot about him defending himself in his perjury trial. That’s hilarious. He repeatedly doesn’t know the first thing about how the law works. _and he was an msp_
A tankie who thinks the sun shines out Putins arse. Fuck him.
What a fud.
Quite obviously we can’t have a convicted perjurer as a Social Worker.
Regardless of how this particular professional victim prefers to see himself.
Another attention whore stooping to whatever level it takes to try and remain in the media and relevant 🙄
I used to have a lot of sympathy for Tommy Sheridan. But then after the shennanigans and perjury stuff, when the party decided they could no longer have him as leader, off he went to set up his own party. That’s a man who is prepared to split a vote and damage a cause just for his own protagonism. His role within Alba and the splitting of the nationalist vote reminds me of that
As for the social worker stuff and the perjury being 15 years ago – some lines of work deal with vulnerable people and the criminal records background checks are far more stringent. All teachers know this. It’s unfortunate that he didn’t know this before investing time and money in training, but the rules can’t be bent for one and not for all.
