Poland about to leave, though, after enjoying the honeymoon phase for a few years.
EU enlargement was a mistake according to some EU officials. Only the Baltics made some progress in terms of culture and politics.
Integration is a little bit more than enlargement. The last decade since Croatia joined we did not get any new members yet we integrated quite a bit more in some areas.

So many formerly-great nations willing to sign up to have their sovereignty and culture erased. Sad to see.
