Princess Anne steps in for King Charles in Kate Middleton absence
Princess Anne once again stepped in for her cancer-stricken brother King Charles amid growing speculations about Princess Kate’s health woes.
The Princess Royal stepped out to present the King’s Award for Voluntary Service this week to the people associated with Forres Nairn and District Riding for the Disabled Group.
She met with riders, trustees, and volunteers at a centre that aims to provide therapeutic riding sessions for children with disabilities.
Zara Tindall’s mother represented the royal family at a meaningful event and lauded the organisation’s efforts by giving them the King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
The Inverness Courier shared that the Group chairwoman Emma Gregg expressed her “greatest honour” to receive a significant award from Princess Anne.
She said, “The visit from HRH The Princess Royal was amazing!”
Emma added, “Her passion for horses is well documented. In her role as president of RDA UK, she is very knowledgeable about the work we do and the benefits visits can give to children – and now to those living with dementia through our ‘Tea With a Pony’ initiative.”
While lauding Princess Royal, the organisation’s head said, “The length of time she spent with us – much longer than originally planned – also demonstrated how much she is interested not only in our activities but in the people she met.”
