DECATUR, Ga. – Located in the heart of downtown Decatur is a mini golf business unlike any other. Corinne “CM” Milien, a Decatur resident, leadership coach and longtime golfer, founded Green Office, an indoor golf space with a big sense of community pride. The business opened in January.
Milien’s goal is to make golf more accessible, less intimidating, and improve players’ personal and professional development. Milien wanted to golf somewhere local and convenient, instead of having to pay lots of money or wait long hours at the more expensive golf spots.
Milien’s relationship with golf runs deep. She was introduced to the sport by her mother and started playing at the age of seven. Milien played on her high school team in Jonesboro and on military bases while serving in the armed forces.
“Golf has always just been a big part of my success,” Milien said. “I wanted to again play more and then make it more accessible, so people could have the same privileges that I have.”
Originally imagined as a co-working space where people can quite literally work and golf, Milien landed on the name “Green Office” after brainstorming and feedback from the local community. She credits the tight-knit Decatur business community with helping shape the vision and design of the space.
While Metro Atlanta has a few indoor golf centers, Green Office is the only one of its kind in Decatur and tailored for its unique experiences.
“It’s different from a golf course, because you’re not having to deal with the elements,” Milien said. “You can play year round, day or night. And for a lot of people, for what I hear, especially as I want to grow the game, the intimidation factor.”

Green Office is built for people who want serious improvements and for those who just want to have fun. Unlike traditional golf spots, the indoor golf spot offers data-driven feedback with over 30 different metrics. Players can learn more about their swing, speed and techniques, which makes it a less daunting way to pick up the sport for beginners or younger players.
At the end of June, Milien is launching Green Office’s first golf league. The four-week event invites participants to play a new course each week, with flexible scheduling and a leaderboard for some healthy and fun competition.
“We’re a neighborhood brand that appeals to golfers, and we’re a community space that appeals to golfers.” Milien said.
Though still in its first year, Green Office has quickly established itself as a space where the community of Decatur can gather, grow and enjoy a game of golf. For Milien, it’s only the beginning.
“I’m excited to continue to build those relationships and see people really see this as a space for them.” said Milien.
Green Office is located at 245 E. Trinity Place, unit 1210 in Decatur.
The space is open, Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday to Friday 11a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. But the times are flexible.
