North Korean leader Kim Jong Un hailed what he called one of the country’s “greatest feats” of the year as he opened a new tourist beach resort in a spectacular ceremony on June 24, according to images released by North Korean state TV. The Wonsan Kalma tourist zone, complete with a waterpark and luxury hotels, will be able to accommodate around 20,000 visitors, state media said.
